Academic Inegrity

Ever since we started school we were taught to "keep our eyes on our own paper" and to do our own work. This rule has followed us on into college. This rule helps us learn how to be independent and think on our own. It also keeps people from taking credit for another person's thoughts, ideas, or accomplishments. I agree with this 100 percent. I do not want someone else taking credit for the work I have done. Therefore I am not going to copy one of my classmate's work. Copying another persons work keeps me from broadening my horizons and learning for myself. Also if I cheat all through school, how will I know what to do on the job. This is probably what is wrong with half the people out there who mess up at their job everyday. They most likely cheated all through college, so now its not doing them any good out there in the real world. I don't want to be like these people I have described, therefore I will be honest and do all my assignments on my own.

Rhetorical Image

I found an image on the web depicting weapons and violence in South Africa and how easy it is for a person to access a gun. The picture showed a vending machine stocked with guns saying enter coins. It was pretty much saying its no harder to access a weapon in South Africa than it is to buy something out of a vending machine.
